3.5 out of 4 in this week's NFL playoffs (well 3 for sure!)

I was 3.5 out of 4 with my picks in this weekend's NFL playoffs. Lets look at the rundown.

Indianapolis at Baltimore
My Pick: Indianapolis
Winner: Indianapolis

Philadelphia at New Orleans
My Pick: New Orleans
Winner: New Orleans

Seattle at Chicago
My Pick: Chicago
Winner: Chicago

New England at San Diego
My Pick: San Diego
Winner: New England

So that would make it seem I'm only 3 out of 4. Where does 3.5 come from you might ask?

At the start of the year, I picked the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl. Although I didn't pick them to win this week, they're still in the running to win it all. That's got to be worth 0.5, right? Maybe I'm giving myself too much credit here, but it's my blog so I'll take that extra 0.5!

As a side note, I wanted to commend the work done this year by my Seattle Seahawks. It's been a tough season, riddled with injuries, but they fought all the way. They could have, and some will argue should have, won the game today in Chicago. It's impressive enough they were able to compete given all they've been through. They'll be back next year, and they'll be healthy. Watch out!

I don't think you can get a credit for Colts vs. Ravens game.

On Saturday January 13, you posted your prediction entry at 3:24 PM. Kickoff time for that game was 1:30 PM. So the game was well under its way and the Colts were already leading the Ravens at around 3:24 PM.

Hmm...I guess now I know how you won the football pool.

In sports batting, you cannot place your bets after the game has begun.

Nice try but sorry Chad.. only 2 out of 4.

Thanks Woosang, but I made the picks the night before at dinner with my parents. I didn't get to post them until I got home the next day, but they were indeed my picks.

Ok... I still think you shouldn't get a credit for that game... but I guess I could give you a benefit of doubt.
