Top of the standings at the All-Star Break

With their 4-0 win in the battle of Alberta last night, my Calgary Flames are tied for the top of the NHL's Northwest Division heading in to the All-Star Break.

They're 7-3-o in their last ten games, and keep in mind, they've been without superstar forward Jerome Iginla for most of January.

Go Flames Go!

We're 8-1-1 over the same period, including three wins over you know who.

We both know who'll be on top come April.

Go Canucks Go!

It's going to be a tight race between the Flame-outs and the Canucks, with my Canucks coming out on top the last week of the season. I just hope both teams can be healthy so that when my Canucks win it's not because we beat a wounded team.

Hey Chad how about a friendly bet. The bet is I think the Canucks will go further than the Flame-outs in the Playoffs. I'm assuming you think the opposite. Loser has to post the other team's logo on their blog as their display pic for a week. You can tell me if you accept on Sunday at the Harbour Center event

I'm not attending any event at Harbour Center on Sunday, but I can tell you that I'm in on the friendly bet!

If the Canucks pass the Flame-outs, I think Chad should have to put this up instead.

Yeah, ok Chad, if the Canucks go farther in the playoffs you have to post that photo somewhere on your blog for a week and if the Flame-outs go farther in the playoffs I'll try to find a similar photo favouring your Flame-outs. What happens if both teams get eliminated the same round or if by some flukey chance neither team makes the playoffs? BTW, I'm having trouble adding extra things to my blog, such as a poll to go on the right side of my blog. I'm trying to get more people to view my blog and maybe leave a comment to show they've been there and I want to try adding a similar poll to the one BC Tory has been posting lately. I asked them about how they went about adding the poll and they sent the following comment back to me: Once you create a poll you simply copy the HTML code for it, then paste it into your blog's template.. How do u copy somthing to your template and where would you copy it to? Also, how do u change your display pic?
